First Week of School

The boys started back to school this week. They attend a Christian International school that is near our house. Hudson is one of two Americans in his class of 18 students. His classmates are from everywhere around the world including Korea, Japan, Namibia, Cambodia, England, Australia, New Zealand and lots of other countries. He loves going to school and has missed his friends since we've been in America. He's in Year 3 according to the British school system (which is actually 2nd grade in America). Hudson has had an increasingly British sounding accent even within the past week. He's used a few more "quites" and "naughtys" lately.

The school is just around the corner from our house, so JT usually takes Hudson and Davis on the moto to school.

Isobel got to go on a breakfast date with me and JT last week. She was really sad she didn't get to go to school, so I was trying to find things to keep her happy! She loves to ride on the moto (we didn't go very far) and went to eat breakfast with us.

This is Davis' first day of preschool. He's going to school two days a week. He has enjoyed going also! This morning the boys were ready about an hour before school started. Hudson has swimming lessons at school, so he's in his swim gear ready to go swimming!

The only way I could keep Isobel happy on one morning Davis was gone was to let her watch Dora. She's always thrilled to watch Dora! I think she was particularly proud of herself this morning - she threw such a big fit and got her way! She's got quite the ornery smirk on her face!
