A family that we're close to usually invites us to their house for big holidays. Their home is about an hour away from the city. Their village always celebrates a harvest festival around March. Their whole village has a lot of monks come and bless the village. Then each home usually has a big party. So the villagers go from one house to the other visiting one another and hanging out. While we were there, I walked around the village and took some pictures.
This is a spirit house. Usually each home has one on the outside and on the inside. They usually put food out daily for the spirits.
