Hudson's First Day of School

Hudson started school again on Tuesday. The first picture is before he went to school. He put on a red shirt for OU as he was getting ready. As he was eating breakfast he was telling me he was wearing his red shirt for OU. Then he proceeded to tell me that all the people that believe in Jesus like OU and everyone who believes in Buddha likes Texas. What random little thoughts go through his mind!!

The next picture is of Davis. He was pretending to be a dog and decided to stick his whole face in his bowl of honey nut cheerios! Lots fell off before we could get his picture taken!

The next picture is of Hudson and all of his friends on our street. They usually hang on from about 3:00 pm on in our street playing soccer and different games. It's a great opportunity to practice language and get to meet our neighbors and build relationships with them. All our neighbors love Hudson and Davis and know them by name. They pass out candy and treats to them all the time. Today a little neighborhood girl bought them both ice cream. The ice cream isn't made with pure water, so it's not so good for the kids to eat, but our neighbor had given it to them before we could stop them. Davis was chowing down on Durian ice cream (for those of you that don't know what Durian is, it's a fruit here, but it smells horrible and you can smell it from about 100 yards away). Then, as our kids were eating the ice cream, our neighbor proceeded to tell us that usually when she eats this ice cream she gets sick. Anyway, you can pray for Hudson and Davis that they won't be sick tomorrow! Tonight I counted about 20 kids out playing in front of our house! It's fun to have lots of neighbors that hang out outside!
